4th May 2025, 10:30 - 13:00
Join Martin and Peter on this fairly challenging walk where initially the route goes through woods but once you are up near Leith Hill Place, you will have magnificent views looking south to the South Downs.
The descent will bring us down to a pleasant walk across fields back to Forest Green.
There is initially a steep climb up out of the hamlet on to the slopes of Leith Hill. Please note that this walk has been designated as 3 boots, ie it is one of our more challenging walks.
You will definitely need stout footwear and need to think about whether you can manage the route comfortably. We suggest it’s a good idea to bring water with you.
It is approximately 5 miles long and it is estimated that it will take about 2 ½ hours.
This walk is not suitable for those with mobility issues.
Obedient dogs are welcome.
The cost is free but you must book your ticket by pressing the brown button below.
If you would like to have lunch at The Parrot following the walk we suggest you book well in advance as they get very booked up.
